Histoire et vocation du Cercle

Fondé comme un cercle académique dédié à l’étude du vin en 1956, le CAEOA rassemble depuis plusieurs décennies des amateurs éclairés et passionnés de terroirs. Fidèle à sa double vocation d’oenologie et d’ampélographie, le Cercle s’intéresse autant au vin dans le verre qu’à la vigne, aux cépages, aux sols et aux savoir‑faire qui les façonnent. Chaque dégustation mensuelle est conçue comme une séance d’étude structurée : thématiques précises, sélection rigoureuse des vins, supports documentaires et échanges argumentés permettent d’approfondir les connaissances dans une atmosphère conviviale. Le voyage annuel, les archives de dégustation et les rencontres de l’Assemblée générale prolongent cet esprit académique en offrant un cadre de réflexion, de partage d’expériences et de transmission. Ouvert à celles et ceux qui souhaitent aller au‑delà de la simple découverte pour comprendre le vin dans toute sa complexité, le CAEOA est avant tout un lieu de curiosité, d’exigence et de camaraderie autour de la vigne et du vin.
